4th Grade Chefs

This week was a collabrative effort from all the students to find Positive words for Healthy living in magazines. We then put them into a collage poster to hang on the wall. We are working on how the media plays a role in affecting our health.  A healthy sampling of vegetables ended our lesson.

2nd Grade Scores

Our first week we talked all about Marty Moose and how we want him to learn to be Smarty Moose. The kids brainstomed ways he could do that over the next 10 weeks of nutrition. We finished the lesson with samplings of the 5 food groups.

This week we concentrated on Food Safety and the Danger Zone. We shared experiences we have had at home with spoiled perishable goods and Food bourne illness. We rounded out the class with the movie Perils at the Picnic.
