Variety, balance and Moderation were on hand for this lesson. We used the pyramid to place foods at the base, middle, or the top. We then gave the base foods the green light, to eat all we want. The middle foods got the yellow caution light, be careful when eating these foods. The red light went to the foods at the tip. Stop and think before we eat these foods. We ended our lesson playing a form of red light, green light, yellow light using food model cards.
